Fall in Colorado

Fall is a spectacular time in Colorado. The air is crisp and refreshing and the green landscape is covered in brilliant hues of yellow and orange as the aspen tree leaves turn colors. Around mid-September, Fall is in full-swing and the colorful aspen trees can be seen in various places throughout the state. One of the best roads to drive along during this time is US-24 East near Minturn, CO. As I was driving down this route I kept stopping along the way to take in so many breathtaking sites. On one of my stops, I captured these photos of an aspen tree forest. The forest seemed so peaceful and ethereal in the soft glow of early morning light.
