On Eagles’ Wings
When a storm comes, most birds seek shelter. The eagle, to avoid the storm, soars above the clouds. Bald eagles can soar over 10,000 feet high. They have great eyesight and can live to be 35 years old or more. Bald eagles are native to North America and can be found in every state except Hawaii. In Boulder, CO you can often see them soaring up and down from the mountains. I recently found out where a couple of bald eagles live and now have been going back regularly to visit. It’s such a majestic experience to see them in person.
